Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 5, 2026.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, installing, or using the Treqdesk application and associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Throughout these Terms, "Treqdesk," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Treqdesk Inc., and "you" or "your" refers to the user or the entity representing the user.
2. Description of Service
Treqdesk is a modern helpdesk, support ticketing, and issue tracking tool designed to operate natively within Slack workspaces. We provide software that enables users to create, manage, route, and resolve support requests directly through conversational interfaces and Slack reactions.
3. Account Eligibility and Installation
To install Treqdesk into a Slack workspace, you must possess the necessary administrative permissions for that workspace. You are entirely responsible for the security of your Slack workspace, the permissions granted to the Treqdesk bot, and the actions taken by your workspace users through the Service.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
4.1 Pricing Tiers
Treqdesk offers a Free limit-based tier and a paid Pro tier. The specific limits, features, and pricing structures are as described on our Pricing page and your workspace’s Billing section.
4.2 Billing Cycles and Proration
Paid subscriptions are billed either monthly or yearly in advance. If you add additional agent seats during a billing cycle, you will be billed the prorated difference immediately. Downgrading seats or canceling your subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds are issued for partial periods.
4.3 Payment Processing
We process payments through secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Dodo Payments). By entering your payment information, you authorize these providers to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.
5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Transmit or store malicious code, malware, or viruses.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or compromise the security of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Interfere with the performance of the Service, or attempt to bypass usage limits or billing mechanisms.
6. Data Privacy and Ownership
Your privacy is extremely important to us. Treqdesk accesses your Slack workspace data strictly to provide the Service (e.g., reading specific messages, applying reactions, responding in threads). We do not claim ownership over the content you transmit through Treqdesk.
By utilizing the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process and store the content necessary for the functioning of your helpdesk. For comprehensive details regarding data practices, refer to our Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to ensure continuous uptime; however, the Service is fundamentally reliant on the availability and API stability of third parties (e.g., Slack). We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, and we reserve the right to modify, deprecate, or discontinue features of the Service at any time with prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for subsequent interruptions or API changes outside our control.
8. Limitation of Liability and Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind—whether express or implied—including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Treqdesk Inc., its directors, employees, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Treqdesk in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
You may terminate your agreement with us by canceling your subscription and uninstalling the Treqdesk app from your Slack workspace. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason—including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the Service or the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Treqdesk Inc. operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
